WCAG defines AA as 4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text and non-text UI like icons and form borders. AAA tightens to 7:1. The ratio is between 1:1 (no contrast) and 21:1 (black on white). Always test brand colors on the actual surface they ship on, not on neutral gray.
